Contestant's Case to Win

The Mommy Measure is a patent pending, all-in-one pregnancy growth chart and journal, which allows moms to track the growth of their baby bellies and document milestones and experiences throughout pregnancy. Expecting women no longer have to measure their baby bellies with tape, ribbon, or even squares of toilet paper! Now they have a fun and easy way to maintain a timeline of their journey to motherhood.

Our Story

Once Upon A Time...
Parents Kevin and Pam used it all to measure Pam’s baby belly during her first pregnancy: squares of toilet paper, ribbon, and a measuring tape with notepad. Pam also made notes of personal experiences during her pregnancy in a journal, like the night when she was 35 weeks pregnant and craving Starburst and Jell-O, or the five uncomfortable weeks where she could feel her son’s head, like a bowling ball, under her rib, and was barely able to sit down! They planned on sharing these memories with their son when he was older. Then about eight months along, they both realized how laborious it would be to sort through and review all of these recordings. They thought there had to be an easier way for parents to store and retrieve all of this treasured information from the pregnancy.

Eureka!
The Mommy Measure was born. Then Kevin Jr. was born, and The Mommy Measure took the back burner. And then came baby number two! Pam began showing again, and this time with a toddler in tow, she didn’t have the time to keep track with the toilet paper, measuring tape, and pen and paper. If she wanted to compare her belly size to her last pregnancy, the “treasured” toilet paper squares used to mark her size were no longer holding up, and the tied ribbon only left her wondering when exactly in the pregnancy she measured that size. She mentioned to Kevin that she could really use their “measuring” invention to compare her current size with her previous pregnancy, and the rest is history.
