I believe Real Living Nutrition would make a great winner because we have created innovative technology to help change the way people can receive affordable nutrition counseling. As far as slackers go, I wouldn't exactly categorize our dietitians or clients as such, but there is something to be said about working or getting to your "appointment" in your slippers and sweats! We provide a license agreement to registered dietitians so they can use our application in their own business. To date we have 39 dietitians in our network.

It all started when a client asked me if I’d provide an email consultation in lieu of office visits. I agreed; and almost immediately saw how this option could work for a lot of folks who are strapped for time or aren’t covered by insurance for nutrition visits. I hired a computer programmer and together we developed a unique, private online nutrition coaching application.

At Real Living Nutrition, we are passionate about helping people improve their health in a realistic and positive way. Our dietitians are all leaders in their industry and love what they do. We are not satisfied with just providing information, but are completely different than most online portals as we actually work one on one with clients mimicking an office visit. We support our clients so they can make healthy lifestyle changes to get long-term results. The website provides clients with personalized online nutrition coaching from a registered dietitian (RD), as well as: Their own customized home page and a private, secure mailbox; an online nutrition workbook; regular e-coaching sessions with their dietitian; and tools such as exercise demos, goals tracker, interactive food choices quiz, and a Pilates video to help them reach their weight loss and health goals.
