Contestant's Case to Win

Bonjour y'all! Sweet Southern flavors combined with the French technique of bon bon-making--that's how one Southern belle and her French husband are making the world a yummier place!

Southern hospitality and French “je ne sais quoi” would seem to be—quite literally—worlds apart. But by combining the best of both worlds, South ‘n France has raised the art of bon bon making to new levels. The result? Seven delectable bonbon flavors—Cafe au Lait, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Coconut, Cookies ‘n Crème, Fudge Brownie, Peanut Buttah and Pistachio. Hand-chopped, hand-rolled, and hand-dipped in chocolate, these decadent morsels are the perfect little treat.

This husband-and-wife team—he from France and she from Wilmington, North Carolina—decided to trade in their high-powered New York City lifestyle for a pink house in the South and a business that would celebrate their very different upbringings. They moved into an old luncheonette, coverting it into their residence and workplace, with a kitchen big enough to make and ship their tasty bon bons all over the country. There's even enough room to hold gourmet cooking parties for local chocolate lovers.

They created South ‘n France and hand-dipped their first 16,000 bonbons in just one month, debuting at the North Carolina Chocolate Festival. Seven months later, they won Best New Chocolate Product at the 114th Philadelphia National Candy, Gift and Gourmet Show. Since then, they’ve been rolling the business and the bon bons right along…
One taste of their award-winning bon bons, and you'll be saying: "Ooh la la!"
