Eco-conscious consumers can find everything from sweepstakes for hybrid cars to coupons on organic foods.
The site was started two former colleagues at TechTV, Jennifer and Karen. Both of us wanted to start a home-based business to find work-life balance; both of us wanted to try to live more sustainably and find a way to support others who wished to do so, too.
When we saw research citing cost as the top reason consumers were reluctant to go green, we thought there must be a one-stop source out there in cyberspace for green bargains and prizes. We scoured the web, but didn't see one. And presto, Ecobunga! was born.
The site not only links shoppers to great bargains and prizes, it also helps companies get the word out about their eco-friendly products and services. Acutely aware of concerns about greenwashing, we review every listing before it’s published to the site.
With hundreds of eco-friendly prizes and bargains, Ecobunga! makes it easy for shoppers to win green, save green, and go green. And with no gas to burn on long commutes, working at home makes it easy for us to live green, too!
