Yvette Bonilla says I recently volunteered for DAHMW. This agency has made an enormous effort to help all victims of various backgrounds. Not only does DAHMW have an extensive list of resources to help victims nationwide, but it also offers training in special issues such as LGBT violence; police officer domestic violence; etc. This organization is innovative because it offers a wide range of information. Most importantly, the volunteers who have worked there are such compassionate, caring people. Many of them go the extra mile to make sure that no individual who calls the helpline goes unassisted. I really hope that DAHMW goes up in the ranks for this competition!
