Let's Gogh Art

About the Winner

Vincent van Gogh once said, "Happiness, it lies in the joy of achievement, in the thrill of creative effort." Lynne Toomey's Let's Gogh Art is the embodiment of van Gogh's simple yet powerful quote. The business, so named by the founder's 5-year-old daughter, is completely mobile, taking the business to whereever the clients may be. They bill themselves as a "mobile, creative enrichment service provider" which translates into organizing fun with and for kids, families and adults everywhere they go. Think art classes, birthday parties, and corporate and group events brought to your venue. Toomey has catered to more than 25,000 people during the last three years. Their biggest event was tie-dyeing with 1,000 people in attendance. That one nearly made Jerry Garcia rise again, we're sure. The creativity has paid off with 150% year-over-year revenue growth each of the past three years. Contributing factors include their 99% customer satisfaction rate and an impressive repeat customer rate. On the drawing board is the launch of a worldwide licensing program, which will enable people across the globe to run this business in their own communities.
