Local Kids is a unique Local Directory in cities around the country that integrates kids, videos, Things to Do, and Deal Fundraising Cards to support local communities. Not only did I start the business from my home, but through licensing local sites, I have made it possible for others to create a legitimate, low cost business from their homes.

Kids do video reviews of what is going on in their community and review businesses and movies. We just launched the Local Kids Deals Fundraising card that will allow kids teams and nonprofits the opportunity sell the discount cards for local businesses at $10 each, and keep $7 of that income for their group.

In addition we are in the process of rolling out an internship where local teens learning marketing and media through online classes, and then test their new skills by working with the Local Kids Local Owners in their regions.

Local Kids is a win for the kids, teens, local businesses, and Local Owners who run the sites from their homes.
