Diabetes is a growing problem around the world. My business helps teach diabetics how to bake appetizing desserts that will not adversely affect their blood glucose levels. We also sell lower carb baking mixes, cereals and desserts, as well as Diabetic Gift Baskets.The business was founded as the result of me being diagnosed with diabetes while attending school to become a pastry chef. Rather than give up my new found career, I developed a formula that would allow me and anyone else to take virtually any recipe and turn it into a diabetic friendly version. The blog was started in 2007, the book was released in 2009 and the business was born in 2011.
