Contestant's Case to Win

When I found out that my employer was letting me go, while still on Maternity Leave, my first reaction was to panic! What would I do with a newborn and no income? How could I look for a new job while juggling the demands of a new baby?

So, since I knew finding another great job would take some time, I took a leap into the web!

I started Sunshine and Sippy Cups in February of 2011 to be a "Frugal Mommy Resource"- to share the money saving tips and tricks I was using in my new life with other busy moms. It has grown pretty quickly, and I have learned SO much.

Over the last year I became a new mom, finished my degree, and launched sunshineandsippycups.com- and am SO glad that I made the decisions I've made that have brought me to this totally unexpected path I'm on.

I plan to continue to grow my site and brand into an incredible resource for moms. When I do find the right company to join, and jump back into the workforce again, the skills I've learned while growing my own site will make me a great asset.

But don't worry- Sunshine and Sippy Cups will not be going anywhere. You can look forward to learning and sharing there for years to come!
