About the Winner

Adrenaline Cheer N Dance Club was started in 2009 by myself, Marie Strzezewski. Adrenaline is a competitive All Star Cheerleading Team. I began this non profit to give kids an affordable option to what is traditionally a very expensive sport and families from lower incomes typically cannot afford for their children to participate in this truley diverse and ever changing sport that is filled with glamour, excitement, athleticism and spirit! I have worked collectively with churches, schools and park districts for space for our teams to use for practices and in the last 2 years, I have been able to help over 200 children participate in this exciting and glamorous sport! Not only have I helped them with their athletic abilities but I have been able to help them with personal development and giving back to their communities.
I believe I should be considered for this competition because of the way I have been able to help so many children and I would love nothing more than to continue my efforts and be able to effect the lives of many more kids in the future. I started Adrenaline out of my spare bedroom and am still working from there. My future plans are to open a facility for our teams to practice, grow and develop, not just as athletes, but as people. Plans for the future also include teams for children with special needs, youth and adult fitness classes, dance, tumbling and All Star Cheerleading. My dream is to turn my spare bedroom start up into a fully functioning All Star Athletic & Personal Development Center.
