The Booty Pillow is a pillow made to replicate the look and feel of laying on the small of a female's back and hind. This crazy idea came to Co Founder Lull Mengesha on a lazy Sunday afternoon in August 2010, as he rested in this area on a woman he was dating. For the amount of comfort he felt, Lull knew it would be a great idea to make a product to replicate that great feel.
The next day, he called Co Founder Nic McGrue and told him the idea. Nic loved it! The two began working on the product right away. In March 2011, the Booty Pillows were released for sale.
This has to be one of the wackiest ideas to come along in a while. However, this company is a great example of how two entrepreneurs can pool their resources and bring an insane idea to fruition in a short amount of time. Neither co founders have experience in marketing or public relations, however, through their hard work, they have been able to get the product placed onto multiple television shows as well as other national media outlets.
