I started my business off an idea of making headbands for my two nieces (who are 3 weeks apart one day). My sister in law wanted to help me make the headbands for my nieces and the rest is history. After recieving so many compliments on our items, people we knew started asking us to make them, and then friends and so on and so forth. We began utilizing Facebook for advertising, networking, and contacts because it was free and we didn't have much money to invest into the company at first (me house hunting and my sister in law- a new mom) Since March of 2011 we have been extremely busy. We've had private house parties all through facebook, where we bring the merchandise to you and the clients shop, shop, shop. We became a boutique on wheels.
Baby headbands are one of the hottest items for newborns, infants, and toddlers. Mom's go crazy for these items. They are used for a variety of occasions, whether you are matching a cute pink onesie, or going in for a baby photo session, they are perfect to tie together the outfit. We started in March 2011 with just making headbands and through facebook we have expanded (due to requests of -can you make this for me?)into a full Mommy & Me online/traveling to your home boutique. Our website is www.shopellecouture.com We now offer: headbands for infants to teens to mom's hair accessories, bridal accessories (we made flowers for bridesmaids hair and flowergirls), to jewelry for the shopping mommy's, cheer bows (we had younger clients liking our bows and ask if we would make them bows for their cheerleading tryouts, embroidered & personalized items, Room decor, to Cake Pop bridal/baby shower favors. We are hard working individuals and keep everything in the family from models to helpers. We are hoping to be considered so we can gain some exposure and people can love what we love to do!
