About the Winner
This is based on the number of votes received and does not reflect the quality of the business or chances of winning.I help humans who have lost their pets exhaust every avenue to find them. 50% of the issue is getting them to calm down because they are so upset about their missing pet. Once I can gather information about the missing pet and it's normal habits, it is more likely that together we can come up with a plan to maximize success of finding the pet.
Lost Paw Patrol also assists Good Samaritans who have temporarily rescued pets reunite them with their true owners. I do this the same as finding the lost pet for a human, only it is finding the lost human for the found pet.
I use a variety of tools and methods based on each individual case. One of the main focuses is saturating the pet community with information about the missing pet. This is done through email, fax, phone, and social media. Alerting businesses such as vets, pet sitters, dog trainers, doggie daycares, groomers, pest control, shelters, animal control staff, and rescue groups makes it possible to spread the word quickly and efficiently.
Other tools include door-to-door searches, shelter searches, bold signs at major intersections, and side walk chalking.
San Antonio has one of the highest homeless pet populations in the country. My goal is to have a positive impact on the number of pets who are returned to their owners.
