Rocko's Rewards started in 2007 during the problems with contaminated pet products. As much as I wanted to bring safe treats to our friends, I also wanted to honor Rocko, my 12 year old dog, by telling his story.

Here we are four years later and Rocko is a happy and healthy 16 years and 8 months old! I'm still making biscuits and have turned our website into a fun place to visit with Rocko's Story - how an abandoned dog found his forever home, Rocko's Blog - the life of a senior dog, and Rocko's World with news and tons of pictures from our dog events.

The pet industry continues to grow despite the current recession and we are enjoying that trend in the local arena. Winning the StartupNation 2011 Home-Based 100 Competition would bring us the exposure we need to take Rocko's Rewards to the next level.

My dream is to spend Rocko's remaining years with him at my feet every day as I make Rocko's Rewards All Natural Dog Biscuits. We're almost there and your vote can help us get the rest of the way.
