This is an AWESOME challenge. I read this,
piece on no-complaints.

How many people could really meet the
challenge of no-compliants? The wild thing
about it that so many people speak in the
format of complaining that they don`t even
recognize that they complain every day.

How many of you could follow through what
the piece below is stating?

===========

A few months ago Reverend Will Bowen, a pastor in Kansas City, Missouri, asked his congregation to make a simple pledge to not complain for 21 days, according to MSNBC. Each participant was given a purple bracelet as a reminder of the pledge, and with each complaint, the bracelet is switched to the other wrist and the 21-day count restarts.

The no-complaints movement has quickly become mainstream, and so far over a million no-complaint bracelets – which the church offers free of charge – have been ordered. Requests for the bracelets are coming in from as far away as Australia and South Africa, as well as from American troops in Iraq.

Some participants tried up to seven months to achieve 21 complaint-free days, but even with relapses, all efforts have resulted in millions of stopped complaints. As Rev. Bowen sums it up, “that’s a lot less ear pollution.”

Challenge:
Could you last 21 days with no complaining, criticizing, gossiping or sarcastic remarks? Take the no-complaints pledge, and encourage those around you to do the same.

===

Hope you find some value in what I`ve shared.

Continue to make this an Awesome day!

I saw this somewhere recently ... maybe People magazine?
I haven`t joined in on the challenge, but the article did make me think really hard about what I say in a day. Thanks for passing it on ... it really is food for thought.

same here. when I watched Oprah the otherday she challenged one of her assitants to not complain. I realized i can eliminate about 99 percent of my complaints. It`ll be 100 percent once I give my two week notice to my bank job.

This would be too hard. It`s asking too much! How come you`re always making us do stuff like this? I don`t like it...it`s too hard. Why can`t life be easier? It`s just not fair.

Craig,

Life is challenging already, let`s make it challenging
toward success.

I like being challenged and I love to challenge others.
Can you imagine me as a mentor?

This is possible! How do I know? I was blessed to
have a grandmother who is no longer with in the
physical sense, who I never heard complain. When
I turned 11 she suffered a stroke, so my time with her
was shorten. So I asked my mother and she said
when was a kid my grandmother never complained
about what she didn`t have, couldn`t afford or spoke
negatively about anyone.

Life is a choice and so many choose to complain and
gossip, which neither has a positive value to you.

Look and listen to others closely when they begin
to complain and gossip, then see yourself in them.
It should make you want to take the challenge.

Continue to make this an Awesome day!
