Small Business Internet Relationships

How tuned into this internet thing are you really? Ok, so just by being a blog reader you’re at a certain level of internet savvy-ness (is that even a word?). But do you take it to the next level?

I’m talkin’ about actually introducing yourself to people for the express purpose of doing some business together. Not just adding a customer – that’s not really the kind of advanced savvy I’m referring to. I mean actually getting down & dirty and partnering up with someone that you simply would not have known about if it weren’t for this world community known as the internet.

Yes, there are cautions to take when meeting someone through the internet. But there are just as many cautions to take when meeting someone new face-to-face. Apply all of your smarts and instincts, do your homework and you can strike up real business relationships without geographic boundaries.

Now I know I’m not saying anything new. But again I ask you, are you actually doing this?
