End of the Year Push-Monday Morning Memoir

Last year our company sat on its heals using the old excuse “it’s the holidays, nobody makes buying decisions right now” and it killed our numbers.  Our sales team felt like they had a free ride to underperform.  The funny part was that in January and February our numbers were great.  The sales team just didn’t ask for the sale because they had the worng mentality.  This year, I hear a lot about the poor economy and how it’s affecting their performance.  Again I think it’s in their heads.  We pushed everyone to get into the end of the year closing mode and last week we had our best sales week ever.  Don’t listen to the excuses right now just drive to the goal.  It works.
