Do you sometimes find yourself not doing something because `you are not allowed` or `you do not deserve it` or `that is just not me`?

Over the years I have used a phrase that starts `give yourself permission to...` which basically let`s me do what I want.

For example:

`give yourself permission to be successful`
`give yourself permission to turn your mobile phone off`
`give yourself permission to ask for a pay rise`
`give yourself permission to have a piece of cake`

It does work!

What are you going to give yourself permission to do...TODAY!

I give myself permission to eat a piece of cake and kill my wife - today.  I feel better already.

It`s not 4 am yet!!! I still have ... 4.5 hours!

I give myself permission to clean my house and finally get my laundry put away.

The permission thing seems to work for me, it lets me let go of the "but...i have to`s"

Okay...so i never did finisg my laundry..started it but then someone needed something and i got back to work.....maybe tomorrow?? Maybe after my husband tells me again he has nothing to wear!! :)
