I absolutely believe in this article.  I use this concept daily.  It works.  Giving a reason for something validates it.  You do have to think about the reason your giving and the message it is sending, because the wrong reason can be disasterous to your attempt at generating a sale.  I work in real estate sales and using the "close out" reason for a sales price or incentive package is very effective, where I am pretty sure that a "going out of business" sale might back fire.

Reason/because is a good strategy, just make sure you are thinking like a buyer when you create the marketing campaign.

This makes good sense, I think if people are honest about what and why
they are doing it enhances understanding and narrows the gaps.

I tried this today at the supermarket. I had three things and all the lines were long. People were grumpy, what with the weather being pretty awful in the Chicago area. But that's okay, I put a smile on my face and said I'd like to move to the head of the line because I was in a hurry.

The doctors at the ER said it wasn't really a concussion, but that I should hang around there awhile until they could make sure. They all were curious why I was carrying around an empty Wonder Bread bag, though, and how come I had so many scratches all over my face!
