Being that our slogan is "Holiday Elegance Made Simple" our plan has always been to expand beyond Christmas for each of the holidays. However, I don't see that happening right away and we'll probably be focused mainly on Christmas for at least another year. I'm learning that the design and manufacturing process, not to mention bringing it to market and promoting it is a full year cycle. We have so many ideas for expanding our current Christmas line that I'm afraid expanding to other holidays might have to wait another year. I wish we had different departments for R&D, design, manufacturing, marketing, sales, and everything else including the admin and finances, but for now it's just me and my partner. Hopefully, as we grow I can build a whole team so I can focus more on the design and new product development. I'm so glad to hear that you think we look like a major player! That was the whole idea!

The photos are great however their file sizes are large... some of the product photos file sizes I checked were over 100K (the home page photo is over 200K).
This means it may take a while for photos to load and it will seem like forever for some one with a dial up connection.

We see lots of Web sites with buttons to choose a language or country
or region. Why not a button to choose "Broadband connection" or
"Dial-up connection," and optimize two different sites for each
demographic?

Some websites that have both an html and a flash version of their site offer such an option (to choose the html or the flash site). It certainly be done, however, it does mean duplication of work (web pages). Also, since this site (the site of this thread) is an ecommerce site, it would be impractable to have duplicate webpages (essentially duplicate online stores).
The difference in image quality resulting from compressing the jpg file is almost un detectable to the viewer. The home page image is over 200K... compressing it to 60K or 70K would provide a faster load time and not affect the visual impact of the photo.

Great suggestion. I will try to get our home page image condensed for the reasons you named. Thanks so much for taking the time to take a look at the website and expecially for posting your comments. We REALLY appreciate the feedback!

Nice photos but 200K for a homepage photo! - Maybe you should look into photoshop for the save to web feature and decrease your res to about half and still get the same quality. Best of luck
