It's great to see Ms. Reed's product mentioned here.  I bought an L.B. Soc from her a couple of years ago, and I LOVE IT!

Thanks for saying how you enjoyed my product.  I enjoy making and marketing "L.B. Soc"...for locs, braids & more, the original hair snood for the wearers of locs and more. Gotten great feedback from those who check in at StartUpNation. Its really a great forum for networking with grass roots businesspersons.

You're welcome!  Also, thanks for the StartUpNation tip.  I've had my online store for a couple of years now, and I'm hoping to get more traffic to it so I can increase sales and start producing my work in-house so I can keep more of the profits.  How about taking a look at my Ethnic category?  You may be pleasantly surprised. Lady you presentation of products and ideas is awesome---and totally inspiring. I will be checking in often to shop and browse, great "eye candy" for the mind and the spirit.  You mentioned off-site production for wares---can you elaborate? Do you have an outside source do your screen-printing for the mugs, t-shirts, aprons? Can you divulge your contact person for wholesale goods? I will be expanding my line next year and want to include t-shirts. Is the web your only selling ground?

Thank you so much for your feedback!

At this time, the Internet is my only selling ground.  Since I currently do not have the funds to purchase screen printing equipment, I depend on a print-on-demand Web site to sell my work.  Even though it is easier not having to keep up with inventory, I would like to sell some products locally in consignment shops.

If you would like to try print-on-demand selling, you can set up an account at Zazzle.com, CafePress.com, RedBubble.com, printfection.com, or any other similar site.  From experience, although CafePress gives you a higher profit margin, Zazzle is by far the most flexible and user friendly.
