Loved this podcast, and it goes to the very heart of my organization, the Virtual Assistance Chamber of Commerce.

To attract only the very best of the best, we defined an ideal Virtual Assistant member profile, established standards of qualification, and provide information about what Virtual Assistance is (and isn't) to help make sure we all speak the same language.

The result is that we are attracting the smart, savvy Virtual Assistant who has years of upper level administrative experience, training and credentials behind her/him, who is passionate about their chosen profession as a VA and loves to give back to her/his community and help new and aspiring VAs get started on the right foot and grow successful, profitable businesses.

In turn, our community offers the business world a great pool of sharp, highly skilled and qualified Virtual Assistants.

With that kind of intentional association, you won't find much medicrity in our bunch. Expecting excellence attracts excellence, and that excellence gets everyone reaching for the stars and breeds even higher levels of excellence. It's truly wonderful to see in action!

Need ideas on finding investors, but mainly another partner in a new publishing business.

Want to find someone that's got business management experience as well as capital to buy into about a years work with three partners.

We are well beyond start-up stage.  Have product developed and in production  for over 100 retail stores as a product test.  Have rep network ready to sell for us in January. We expect sales acceleration but know we will need help managing the growth of a company selling product at established retail locations.

Partners are located in Macomb Michigan and Chicago Ill..

I agree with Danielle.  There are so many people out there that are able to step in and assist smaller businesses that aren't looking to hire a full-time staff - but just need help.  I have a different twist to a virtual assistant.  My company fields calls for small size companies, ship products for on-line stores and also provide other administrative tasks.

For those that need to get out from the mountain of work piling up, there are resources out there to help you.  We all have our strengths and areas that aren't quite as strong.  Finding someone to help compliment you will only help to make your business grow.  Especially if it allows you more time to promote your business.

I know I know this is is kind of a plug.  But it is not.  For the past few years I have been finding it more and more expensive to find employees.  So being teh business person I am I decided to start an employment website to cut down my costs.  So then I started to realize that others outside of my city might need this service.  So I spent 1 year developing the site and we launched a few months ago.  We are in the ramp up stage.  The site is free at this time.  We might charge in a year a nominal costs to keep it going.  Until then everyone is Welcome to post jobs for free.  www.mployd.com
