I wanted to spark your attention to this important interview, folks. you're missing the boat if you don't make a conscious decision to address the special preferences and attitudes of women consumers.

Listening right now. Developing a marketing strategy for women is important and there are different approaches to connecting with the female consumer. But don't forget men. In my locale, businesses are predominately owned by women (80+%) and there are numerous events, publications, charitable organizations and more for women. Well, the men are beginning to feel alienated and have announced the launch of their own publication for our region. Joann Sondy

How come we have to market only to men or to women? What about the rest of the people?

Craig, while I believe in the B2B arena of marketing and communications there should be no difference. Unfortunately, the B2C direction is quite different. The latest method of marketing "the experience" can be different for gender and/or age. There is a lot of research that women handle 80% of all purchases for the household, woman-owned business is increasing every year and the retiring of the boomer generation. So, as a business owner, you should be aware of current trends and data, examining the impact it might have on your marketing initiatives and develop strategies accordingly. Joann Sondy

I heard the presentation on your website and Startupnation but I don’t seem to be able to find the searching database that is mentioned so many times during the presentations.
To help on my decision, I would like to see how does this Searching Database works and how does the women actually find this DB. How do the women find this DB if I'm no able to?
