This is ideal for anyone that is healthy who has financial resources to cover the deductible. Coupled with a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP), the HSA allows you to save money for when you might have a medical problem.

If you are young, you're less likely to need medical treatments. If you are healthy, there is a good chance that you'll continue to be healthy. This means that the chances of going to the doctor, or more importantly the hospital, are lower. You'll save a large amount on monthly premiums, which you should then put into an HSA qualified savings account (or investment account if you want higher returns). You can choose your HSA separately from the HDHP, and can find comparisons of the HSA accounts at www.BankRate.com.
