Good list. I'd add to that: CEO - obvious of course, but it includes being the visionary, making sure the company has a goal to strive towards and a vision to keep it on track. As entrepreneurs we can get so caught up in the day to day we forget why we started our business in the first place!
Nice site. I just found you.

Nice article and very true. I run an online software business for teachers all by myself ( www.baggetta.com) and I think I've got just about all of the above list covered. Fortunately I'm retired so I can be a one man band.

Nice list. I have a comment that may be of interest to anyone reading it, though: You don't have to do everything yourself!
Working with a virtual assistant can be the best investment you make in your business -- and doing so early is key, before you are so overwhelmed you don't know which way to turn.
A top virtual assistant is a seasoned administrative professional; an expert at her/his craft. We can handle most (if not all) of your marketing, collect your accounts receivable, call the utility company with that question you've been meaning to ask, research and order equipment . . . I can go on an on about how a VA can change your life. I should know because I am a VA -- and I also work with my own VA to help run my business as smoothly as I help my clients run theirs!

The title of this article really resonated with me. All those hats do make me feel like I'm losing my mind! I agree with Geri that it is important to get help as soon as possible. Otherwise it is easy to get consumed and not have time to be the visionary. If you are trying to do everything yourself I highly recommend reading "The e-myth revisited" and "The 4 hour workweek".
Best of luck to all you fellow entrepreneurs out there!
