I was just passing by the site and got my eye drawn to your article. Seeing as we're in the design game, it has a lot of relevance to us. If I could get the majority of my clients to understand the basics you put forward there, they would all do well. Some you just can't get to understand though. It's not the" field of dreams" there is no build it and they shall come. You've got to engage the viewer and get them to have confidence in you. Giving away free stuff is useful in getting people to pay attention to you. To get traffic to your site you need links as well. We have a client who we do marketing for, and this ties in neatly to prove a point and achieve a goal. They sell various forms of business contract online. We persuaded them to develop a give away free website privacy policy. The bearing on the topic is that if you are going to develop a website for your business, you do need to generate every element of confidence possible. A privacy policy tells people what you will do with any data they give you. It really does help. There are also other marks of trust worth looking at.
The website privacy policy should be available in the next couple of days. I hope you don't mind the link, it seems relevant
