The first contestant in the Elevator Pitch Contest, asoundmatch, joined me for this community podcast. Her biz idea is music to my ears. You gotta check it out to decide for yourself.

If you think hers is the best pitch, then vote for her here!

Joel,

Thanks very much for creating a fun podcast experience.  Great interviewer skills you have!

I think featuring an indie artist's song in each podcast is a great idea.  Musicians/bands are entrepreneurs, too.  We all put ourselves out there, hoping to make a difference.  By promoting each other's work, we can really create strong community.

Thanks, again!

My vote is for asoundmatch. It's not the voice or delivery so much as, what a concept. Her pitch was good. She spent her existing time persuading us to think of a truer match could not be found that which equals the music of the soul. And to her credit, there be these who agree the passionate woo of what say the likes of Neil Diamond, Harry Chapin, Gordon Lightfoot, Cat Stevens, Jim Croce, James Taylor, who make the difference in the game of love. Whether there be sunshine or cloudy days to come. Find my true love. I implore you. You are the best. I love the 70's. I hate the 80's. I love the 90's. I welcome the 2000+ years to come. Long live the entrepreneurotic in all things heart and soul. My name is Daniel. I will buy your service, with all the creative passion of my expectant wonderment. Of the girl, and her song.

frndchps,

i assume you placed your vote in the thread where the voting poll exists.

i agree, by the way, that this is a VERY cool business concept. my brother and i are very enamored with it!

of course, voting is based on the quality of the pitch itself. that's what the contest is ALL about, brilliant business ideas aside. that's the only way for us to have an apples-to-apples competition.

assuming your musical tastes match with your spouse's?
