This is the very first StartupNation Community Podcast!

What a blast I had with Chad Durbin cdurbinrhp talking about how he came to learn about StartupNation through the book StartupNation: Open For Business, and the ways that he has used StartupNation.com to start his dream business.

Chad is a professional baseball player and is sowing the seeds for life after baseball. Great stuff!

We also talked about:
and the song "Betty" by the Lascivious Biddies was our first featured independent musician.

The opening pitch of the StartupNation Community Podcast has been thrown!

Listen to the podcast here. What do you think of it? Are you game? Be honest, but be gentle - this is the very first one!

Joel,

I just caught up today with your podcasts (all 5 at once). As always you're sensational. I love the "start it up" opening theme music and your choices of indie musicians.

I have to say, you're doing us a huge service by giving voice to the community members that we usually only read online. Another dimension of their personality unfolds. All that remains is to meet them in person (in due time).

StartupNation keeps getting better all the time. Thanks for your part in that.

PS. Sorry you didn't get to use that World Series ticket.
