This is definitely one of the strategies we plan to use to grow our
business. There are so many possibilities but we are concentrating
first on those that cost the least to enter given our existing facility
and equipment.

Time to revisit your business plan and update it! Creating constant innovation in your company's offerings is a great way to grow! My thoughts are, take time to pause in your business, think strategically and allocate specific time slots to reinvent or enhance your product line!
Thanks for great article!

I find that niches are all around us and its just a matter of keeping our eyes open to see them. Every niche will lead you to another niche that goes in a totally new area, or it will be more of a subniche (if that is a word) in the same niche. Its funny, but I do busines in two niches that really are not related but was able to cross the two and create a new niche that combines both. I forever keep my eyes open for new markets or new directions to go in a market."If we ever forget that we're one nation under God, then we will be a
nation
gone under". ~Ronald Reagan

Focus, Focus, Focus I have found a lot of company's these days think they are niching when they are really way to random with their products and services. Take the small website design who always tries to sell himself as a graphic design, maybe does some logo work and then even wants to handle your hosting.
I hope a lot of people read this article!

I was always "just a VA" and then I decided to niche myself as an Internet Marketing VA since I was a Certified Internet Marketing Specialist. From that day forward, I've been swamped with work. It was the best decision I ever made.
