Paying your bills on time will earn you some extra points.  When I had my retail store, for Christmas I sent my rep a mini pocket bike (mini motorcycle).  The following year we got a little more discounts, first in line for new products, along with other things.  Little perks may help, you don't need to go the extreme.  This was for a large vendor, the smaller ones I sent chocolate for their families.  That spring during trade shows, I was suddenly recognized immediately
