On a fairly regular basis I revisit my breakeven analysis to determine where we are. I think it's a good time to revisit our whole business plan. We're far enough along to know what were realistic projections and what was wishful thinking. Also, I need to look into website analytics so we know what is happening on our website.

Wow! There's so much distilled knowledge and wisdom in these articles. One can take a full semester MBA course or simply read these topics!

Thanks for a wealth of information!

I recommend doing a complete COS, commercial opportunity survey.  This comparies you to your competition and lets you know exactly where you can improve.  Also it sometimes tells you it time to get out and sell the business while you still can. Erik

Measuring your online stats can tell you a ton of things.  For example, if one of your pages is ranking high in your stats as an exit page, maybe you need to look this page over and redo it?  Does the color turn a user off?  Is the copy not selling?  etc.  Try to figure out why everyone leaves at this page, fix it and hopefully your sales will start coming through this page for you. We are currently trying to introduce our product into high end department stores like Macys and the like.  Any advice on what I should send them with my sample and price sheet.  Should I also provide a media kit?

Lisa,

You might want to start a new thread for your question. Not sure how many will see it here. Great looking website. Good luck selling your product.
