Rich - Julie Clark is a major inspiration to me. Definitely check out the creators of Jibbitz. Here's a link to a story Oprah did on them. They sold their company for $20 million in just about a year.

Rich - You might do a search on Tomina Edmark who invented the Topsy Tail. She had quite a story to tell. Chris

No, my hair is kind of fine and doesn't look too good long, so I never had enough hair for it really. It's amazing how she took such a simple idea and made millions. Very inspiring.

Sara Blakely of Spanx comes to mind too. I think you've covered her before.

Oh! Sandra Wilson might be good. She's the founder of Robeez baby shoes. They are very popular with parents. She's a fantastic entrepreneur. http://www.robeez.com/en-us/about/sandra.htm?PriceCat=2& Lang=EN-US

Very interesting to hear that you are working on a home business initiative.

If you are looking for home businesses based in the UK, there's no better place to visit than the homeworking website at www.enterprisenation.com

In fact, we are just about to run a week long campaign - site content/podcast/e-news - focused on the topic of growing a business, without outgrowing the home.

Hey Rich check out Michele Hoskins of Michele Foods. She is one of my favorite stories. Divorced single mom tha had no business experience only an inheirited syrup recipe passed down through the generations. She has created a food empire that started out of her apartment and grew it into a huge processing facility in OH and shelf space everywhere from Safeway to Costco. Believe it or not I lived in the same apartment she started the business in moons before she became a hit. Talk about an inspiration!Chit Chat and Chew is reconnecting families and changing lives. This company that I happen to be apart of has been debt free and it has been growing on 5 years. Leaders are making the triple digits and they have been involved for 4 years.  The products are yummy! The business can be started up for $39.95 per month

which gives back to you :

These products are made of renewable resources...soy/veg propietary formula! The candles are triple scented, 100% cotton wicks and ARE clean burning=NO SOOT!

1-16 oz candle, 1-dozen votive, 1 soy bar and a company website

you are the one who sets the quota....

you get to set your goals.....you are the one that makes this business grow for you.

Conference calls available every other evening...mentors are the leaders and they have been involved in networking businesses for years.

Go to this website: www.candlemoney4mom.scent-team.com & while you are there, sign up for the candle drawing, read the newsletters, see the company compesation plan and HEAR the leaders!

PS. A BRIEF little story on this business ....we moved to the big San Juan Mountains of Colorado and I knew no one. During the Christmas holiday, I decided to console to a candle to feel at peace about my no friends. I purchased a regular old soy candle and was disappointed in the black soot and no smell. I called by to the old neighborhood in Montana and my dear friend told me about this business....the person whom purchased my home was a candle sales person, not only candles but teaching, & mentoring many people to success!  She sent a few scent samples and the smells were FABULOUS! I was sold! SO a year later....here I am inviting YOU to take this smelly test! Let me know what you think....please rate my company website from

1-10. My biz number is available if you have questions!
