I am trying to setup an LLC and I have a question about one of the questions. I called my SOS and the lady that answered, did not know what it meant either.

Quote:
If the management of this company is vested in a manager or managers, a statement to that effect must
be included in the space provided or by attachment:

Can anyone tell me what this means?

Thank you in advance.

the people at sos usually won't answer because:
1.  they are not lawyers
2.  they have been told not to give legal advice

yes, answering this question is giving legal advice.

Explaining what that means is giving legal advice? I am only wondering what it means, I am not asking anyone to fill it out for me.

My guess is that each state is different, but you can also contact your local Small Business Development Center or SCORE office for help. They have attorneys that will meet with you and answer questions/provide advice. Sommer Designs
