I don't ordinarily critique a site as using older technology or for being overly simplistic, but in this case I think it's an important consideration.

Another very odd and ironic issue I have is that I'm surprised that a site selling baby-targeted products would be selling candles. Isn't fire a bit much for infants?

Well, the site seems to feature what I call "Happy talk".  The large, long welcome messages take up a majority of the home page.  This just gets in the way of viewers who came to the site to find products, not read what you think about your company.  The entire design is outdated.  Ease of navigation and customer appeal does not seem to be present.  I would recommend consulting with a professional web designer and doing some research into other top sites that have ecommerce web products to get some ideas.

Let me know if I can help,
