Thanks Rich...

I'll draft a suggested format for what kind of info to put in each posts dedicated box - and include some hints about what in particular might draw my attention. In that it would be what I would like to see and likely induce my response, I think I can safely assume that others might find it efficient, succinct and (with any luck) fairly targeted to the personalities I have encountered here on SuN.

[NB: No offense meant to anyone here, but the folks on SuN are just like the great many others, both questioners and responders, I find on almost all business-oriented boards, including my own... and the questions -with accompanying answers- are in most cases, exactly the same, albeit each is worded somewhat differently. I would also point out that the majority of questions all center around some main areas and themes, with the only REAL difference being the level at which the asker is currently at, and the depth of answer the responders care to delve into.]

One point I do have a question about.... What happened to the moderators (SuNbassadors?) that use to frequent the boards to help maintain order and a measure of discipline?

Would you like it posted here or sent directly to you?

Hey Rich, glad everything's worked out. Obviously there is no decline in the popularity of this site..  Your newsletters are great, featuring topics that bring us back! Wow, we have over 100 pages in the Obama/MeCain debate! Beef Jerky,

Janie,

not only did you spark over 100 pages of comments with your provocative McCain/Obama question, but the article we did on your business received over 3,000 hits today. the keyword that drove people to it on Live's search tool? "recession food". see the article and you'll see how that ended up happening.

Old Nikko, would much appreciate your ideas right here in this forum.

Rich,

3,000 hits today, or to date?  I did notice before our server crashed that I had hit after hit from startupnation, and really wasn't sure why. Maybe you crashed my server. :)  I did see on live search that your article is #4 for recession food.  I am wondering though, why it became such a popular search.

Aw, you think Old Nikko would appreciate my ideas?

Thanks for the article, and the attention it recently created.  Hope you and Max are doing well.

What ideas Janie? I'm always open to new ones (and the ones I forgot too!)

This might be an interesting read for you too...

"The human being is a wanting animal and rarely reaches a state of complete satisfaction except for a short time. As one desire is satisfied, another pops up to take its place. When this is satisfied, still another comes into the foreground and so on. It is a characteristic of human beings throughout their whole lives that they are practically always desiring something."  - Abraham H. Maslow, Psychologist, Motivation and Personality

Wow, if no one wants to say that's amazing,.... I will.  As far as the site crashing, they said it was during maintenance that the server crashed, but the hits coming through probably didn't help them with what they were doing! Sadly I have no stats.  Everything is gone from that day.

Ideas Nick?....I'll get back to you.

Read all the postings and realized there is a newsletter. How do I receive the newsletter. I do get emails from SuN but no newsletter.

I have found this site so full of information that sometimes I go away with my head spinning but spurred on to do something new and exciting for my business.
