Welcome to Western Wood Crafts . We take wood and various other materials and turn them into beautiful art. We make candle holders, lamps, shelves , key holders, picture frames , and many more items. A lot of the wood we use is cedar and is trimmed or pruned from the trees here on our land. In stead of burning or turning into mulch we have made jewelry and other wonderful forms of art. We have tried to be creative and each piece is hand made so no two will be exactly alike. we also have bird homes. The female version is made from 2 liter soda pop bottles. The male version is made of wood and pvc.
Also we have made crochet handbags , hats and scarves. We make different items and add to website often. We also have used bone to make our art.

Visually, there is a lot going on. The first thing I notice is that you are trying to blend too many styles together; a lot of wood textures, marble background, "hi-tech" buttons, etc. I would suggest you find one type of visual style and stick with it, and for your subject the wood is the obvious choice, but keep it consistent if possible. JMO ..... I would remove the green areas, as well as the menu buttons, and replace them with something simpler that blends better with the overall theme.
I would also remove the flashing images. I am already at your site; why would I need to enter it? Start telling me now what you offer and why I would benefit from it, want it, need it, or whatever. Create a message to make me want what you offer, not just something about what you sell. Not knowing what your sales are like, I think you could probably increase them with a better opening message.
On the lower half of the page, the text isn't all that easy to read with the background. Again, think simplicity. Don't make your visitors fight the page to read it.
The main page is 500+kb. By removing and/or optimizing your images, you will get a smaller page size and faster load times, as well as less bandwidth being used.
You have a links page; there isn't much point in having all of your
categories there, and on the sitemap as well. The sitemap should only
point to the links page itself.
Your SEO could use some tweaking, but you have many of the basics in place, as well as W3C compliancy.
I would suggest, overall, a more consistent theme-based look, reduced page sizes, and a bit more SEO.

Thank you so much for taking the time to view our site. I know you spent a lot of time and energy in doing this. We will work on these things and see if we can get more buying going on. I respect your opinions. Also thank you for such a speedy response. It is so hard to look at your own site objectively.
Thank you again .
I added e-mail , hope I did it right,

Ditto of what Michael said. I see there are a few website that are quite similar (reelentertainmentco, Waxahachie Trade Days, and american countrymall). It seems the sites were all made by "reelentertainmentco". So, what Michael suggests about a consistent theme and fewer gaudy graphics and blinking text would apply to those sites as well.
It looks like your ecommerce site is osCommerce based (although there is not osCommerce copyright notice). OsCommerce does a good job, however, you might consider making a change from the default set-up/lay-out to something more unique to your site. Of course it should be consistent with your main website (which needs some significant graphics rework).
The privacy policy, shipping info and other "information" links from your "online store" should be reformated. There are no paragraph breaks or headings so it is very hard to read.

Thank you for your input. We will see what can be done to enhance the visit to our sites.
All though one of the niches of our sites, is that we make one of a kind items. We do not mass produce our items with machines. Each piece is made individual.
It is great to be different from everyone else. To stand out in a crowd.
I remember the very good, and the very bad, the in between seems to get lost.
Thank you again
