Hi All,

I am looking for information on how to create email branding materials. (ie custom email signatures, email letterheads, etc.) Although I have been doing research on this topic, if you have any advice on the best websites and/or books that are great for proper/cutting edge email branding, that would be great!

Thanks & God Bless,

Couple of questions:
  1. Are you using a CMS or blogging platform currently?
  2. Are you willing to pay for a service?
  3. Do you just want to send the email or do you want to track links/usage, etc?

Campaign Monitor's resources page has all kinds of information about email marketing. In addition to branding & design there are tons of technical issues you need to be aware of, CM gives a good overview of pretty much everything.

Thanks KatyB & RabbitMountain.

KatyB, I currently use iContact and have designed my email signature in Adobe Illustrator. Although I am not a graphic designer, I have a creative eye and know I could learn how to more easily create other signatures and email letterhead, etc if I had a good book and/or website.
Honestly for now, I just want to send the email. However, I would like to know what it takes to be able to track links/usage, etc.
While I have someone that is experienced in website design working on my template, I look forward to doing these email branding items myself.

Hi Mike,

You offer some of the solutions that I want to actually provide. Because of my eye for unique graphic solutions, I know I will be able to provide these services to my clients (marketing consulting) myself until I decide to outsource it.
If you have any suggestions as to the best resources (books, websites, courses, etc) for learning this skill set, it would be greatly appreciated. I am not attempting to actually become a full time graphic designer, but rather become efficient in creating creative branding solutions and understanding the intricacies of them.

Thanks & God Bless,

Tyra
