Hi SuN!
I'm new here and have read through some of the posts! I hoping someone could give me some guidance. I'm looking starting a website (that provides business resources to entrepreneurs) and I was just wondering how I would be able to get "experts" to be on my site so that users can "ask the expert" questions?
Thanks!

We actually had quite a discussion on this, some time ago. The upshot
of it all is most easily seen in something like Startup Nation.
Having a forum is always going to be a secondary part of starting a Web
site. It might eventually become a major feature, but certainly not in
the beginning. Instead, you'll have to have something in particular
that draws people to the site.
SuN began as an excellent general resource for all people starting a
small business, entrepreneurs, and those who are still just thinking
about it. The 10-steps book was on the market, and there were a number
of other resources.
Along with all that "passive" information, the forum then became a way
for entrepreneurs to interact with each other and the Sloan brothers.
You'll want to start a Web site that offers something of high value to
the target audience---your entrepreneurs. That value should likely be
different from what the many other sites out there offer. So finding
that particular concept is your first step.

Hi,
How does StartUpNation.com attract experts? I post here because I enjoy helping others but also it promotes our company at the same time. So if you just provide an avenue that helps companies like us promote & help you will attract experts.
But if you do decide to build this internet business our company has just finished our Question & Answer (Q&A) Script we have been working on for 6 months...it will be perfect for you idea. If you call our company ask for Jeff and i will give you a large discount because we need to get a demo up, work out the bugs, etc...
It is similar to Yahoo Answers or Wiki Answers

I agree with Jeff. I often give free generalized legal advice on forums and in articles for sites in order to promote my firm. I think if you give experts a chance to advertise their businesses (or at least link to their sites) you will get a number of "experts" that are willing to help you out...
