Hi SUN,

I'm seeking suggestions for a golf instruction website tagline. The web site provides video golf lessons and tips from Golf Pros. Also, covering golf fitness and the mental side of the game.

The videos can be viewed or downloaded and can be put on your iPod and taken to the golf range to practice - thereby always having your golf pro with you.

We'll launch the site shortly.

What sets the site apart is.. instruction covering all aspect of the game from top golf pros (pros who teach other pros), fitness expert who also works with golf pros, and a Sport Psychologist and Life Coach. Large video view playback 640px by 480px, ability to download and take the video with you.

Any ideas? Some thoughts already under consideration:
  • a new era in golf instruction
  • golf made easier
  • score better

Thanks, Roland

What was the original "Hoo Hah!" inspiration that created the idea for the site? There must've been that 'walkin' around....feelin' golfy....thinkin' 'bout....WOAH!' moment, right? Can we get a short anecdote? Craig Landes

The founders wanted to provide full/complete lessons that people could download.
Most other sites only offer short golf tips... a few minutes in length.

The site offer such tips but also complete lesson videos up to 23 minutes in length.

Plus, the lead instructor (Steve Dalhby) does a great job communicating so you can really "get it".... and improve your golf game. Also, adding golf fitness and the mental toughness part is great.

It is an interesting idea.  ask around and see if anyone has anything interesting or candid to say about it.  That is where the best ideas come to life

I always liked the Robin Williams rant on golf and why a shot is called a stroke, b/c every time you have a bad shot you feel like you are going to have a stroke.  Since yours is instructional, how about a play on words, something like:

"Striving for one less stroke."
"The fewer strokes the better."
"Preventing strokes the world over."

hmm...but it seems that the video part is the unique identifier, so we should have something about video in the tagline....or something that cross-relates.

I'm thinking along the lines of golf-to-go lessons for an ipod or cellphone...things like that. Still thinkin', though.... :-)
