CNBC's "The Big Idea" host Donny Deutsch says he loves women, sports, basketball, his buddies and running.

StartupNation co-founders and chief startupologists Jeff and Rich Sloan help him begin to develop an action plan for a business with those things as the foundation.

The big message:

"Think business model first, then think about how to create revenue around it."

Thank you for the video feed it inspired me to write about why I love what I'm starting on my website. I believe we must tell our customers why we love what we do and our motivation for starting a business. This way we can motivate others.

Hey Joel,

Thanks for posting that video. I love Donny Deutsch and, of course, love Jeff and Rich.

I thought it surprising that Donny couldn't verbalize his biggest dreams very well. He was very sheepish and dismissive about what he *really* wanted to do. I love how Jeff refocused Donny to whole-heartedly embrace that idea, no matter how crazy and ridiculous it may sound.

It's a really simple and often overlooked question: What do we REALLY love in life?

Donny and the guys are great in this clip, as usual.  I think we're all running so damn hard that we rarely - if ever - stop to ask ourselves, "What the hell am I doing with my life?"  Figure out what you want to do and find a way to make a living doing it!  Brilliant!

I agree Dougster, Donny's gotta love what he's doing. And  he has helped a lot of women on his show by featuring their  products.  I'm sure they have appreciated it too!

Great job Rich and Jeff, suggesting creative ideas and an action plan, around what he said he loves.
