That's quite interesting. I think I'll try it out. You certainly had a way of keeping the audience enticed throughout the article. Thanks for sharing that tip.

It does make sense thinking along the lines of movies. My wife and I continuously buy the sequels to movies if we like the first. So my question would be, how do you attach this to tangible goods such as retail merchandise instead of books?

I just completed and copywrote a manual on golf etiquette entitled, "The Golf Course" to be used in my etiquette workshops. Since it may have potential for further golf info, your idea is one I'm going to use. And, since perception is reality, what people think is what they will - and it's all good.
I did have a comment from my printer that many people will go after volume I's because if it ends up as a "collectible" someday, it's the one with errors and ultimately more valuable. Just some frosting for others to consider. Thanks for your helpful piece! Rick

I sell office supplies, how do you sell 'volume 1' of an ink pen, ream of paper or an ink cartridge?
But without faith it is impossible to please him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrew 11:6

If you're a battery company, you create a whole bunch of cool toys, sell them, and include the words: "Batteries Not Included."
Then you'll have customers crying out for more!

Wait...I got another one! You create a whitepaper or e-book, and title it "Something---Part 2.."
People buy it, looking everywhere for "Part 1." Then you write that,
and you'll have a big group of folks who'll buy it, thinking they
missed it the first time around.
