3Fueled is the next generation renewable energy company for a cleaner and brighter tomorrow. 3Fueled consults with and invest in innovative companies to produce energy and byproducts from annually renewable feedstock. 3Fueled helps its clients transform biomass into high-value specialty products, such as: densified biomass, biodiesel, biogases, and biolubricants. 3Fueled’s investments will range from the farm level, through the supply chain to densification and ultimately power generation.

3Fueled recognizes that new ventures in renewable energy need technical excellence grounded in economic realities. We seek to serve as management consultants to those individuals and companies who intend to lead the renewable revolution in 2009 and beyond. The expected customer base includes emerging industrial-biotechnology firms, existing utility and chemical companies, and agricultural operations. We will help our clients realize innovation at less cost and/or in less time than they could accomplish alone - with a guarantee of top-quality, professional service. With our assistance our clients will also achieve sustainability from the perspective of the triple bottom lines - economic, environmental, and social responsibilities in all their business activities.

3Fueled is currently in the start-up phase and is located in the John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center Student Business Incubator at The University of Northern Iowa. Utilizing an investment from outside investors, our business plan projects a modest profit over the three-year period and a healthy net worth at the end of year 3 (2012). At this point the firm should be well-positioned to add additional consultants to grow the business, leverage its experience to invest in renewable energy production plants, or consider a buy-out from a large consultancy firm. Additionally, current joint-venture opportunities and supply chain relationships are already being formed.

Current projects include:
• Developing a 90-120,000 ton/year biomass densification facility
• Conducting a feasibility study on a biomass Combined Heat and Power system
• Developing a new Biomass distribution and transport infrastructure

The initial biomass densification plant/project will generate roughly $50-60 million in revenues over the next five years. 3Fueled will spearhead the formation, investment, development, and ownership of this project which has the potential of growing into a $100+ million project once all of the related supply chain revenues are added in, and lead to the creation of well over 200 new jobs. 3Feuled will be involved in the development and ownership at all levels of the supply chain, from farms through to the densification and distribution. Over $17 million has already been committed to this project contingent on government matching funds requests. The matching and committed funds will create a 5-year, long-term contract for the supply of 60-90,000 tons of densified biomass from 3Fueled’s densification plant.

3Fueled is seeking $250,000 of seed money in return for a 10% ownership interest in 3Fueled, a seat on the Board of Directors, a 100% ROI over three years (>26% annualized), and direct investment opportunities related to 3Fueled’s future development projects.
