CineGoGo is democratizing the business of theatrical movie distribution by turning it into a SaaS (software as a service) solution. Any venue equipped with a digital projector and a broadband connection can sign up to become a big-screen movie house and gain access to a variety of top festival films. Once in the CineGoGo network, users can create and monetize their own High Definition movie screening events for their venues. CineGoGo’s website also offers a festival film database, ticket sales, marketing/promotions, and various social networking features including audience SMS voting and filmmaker Q&A webcasts.
CineGoGo gives the 14,000 films screened every year at festivals, but usually denied theatrical distribution, a new way to reach the big screen in alternative, local venues like community centers, schools, universities, cafes, parks, and even parking lots. We help festival filmmakers reach and monetize their "long tail" audiences by micro-targeting the venues and audiences to match specialty film categories like children, young adult, ethnic, religious, gay/lesbian, music, sports, foreign, and political.Because of the radically different economics of web-based servicing, digital distribution and a cinema chain without the "brick and mortar" overhead of a traditional movie theater, CineGoGo can profitably sell movie tickets to smaller audiences and at prices below those of the megaplexes. To learn more you can visit www.cinegogo.com/investors.
