millionheads was created by two brothers in New York, who one spring day in 2008 wondered how powerful it would be to use the internet to enable the wisdom of crowds in helping to make a personal choice. A social polling engine is what has emerged with 426 questions and 2567 votes as of March 5th 2009. We envision millionheads to be the most fun and valuable tool on the web for anyone who's got a choice on their hands, and wants a definitive answer about what they should do, instead of just a bunch of equally valid opinions.
Revenue will be generated through advertising and through premium services, which enables people and organizations who want to get advice on their business or product to tap the wisom of the crowd. As a Focus Group 2.0 model, there will be a system which rewards subscribed responders with points for answering questions their demographic has been asked to answer. The points could then be traded for goods, services or cash provided by Questioners.
