Chuck Kulig says These are not elevator pitches. You don't have video on an elevator. Too long and rely too much on visual effects.

Josh Ritcher says We have run across different types of investors. Some like to see inflated numbers and assume you will only make half that or less. Other investors like to see realistic financial projections and that is the road we have taken. Cinecore is a new business model and we have nothing to compare our projections with. Our diligent research from inside our market has provided us with the numbers you heard in our pitch. Yes they are smaller and conservative numbers but they are very realistic. We would rather overshoot our projections and make our investors happy than promise the world and not deliver. Not only have we designed our software to be an effective time and money saver for the industry but we designed it to be highly profitable and efficient with low business overhead. A small office, built in billing and intuitive software architecture are all ways we are cutting operating costs and keeping profits high.

kevin says Very polished presentation, I liked it a lot. My one question is from the eyes of a venture investor. If I am investing 1.2 Million and expect to exit within 5 years and want a minimum 3-5X return, how much of that $17 million in sales is pure profit? You might need a bigger footprint within 5 years. Best of luck.

Lois says Working in an industry that just introduced the paperless production of client work and what a wonderful concept! The time, money, and energy saved by being able to have everything at your fingertips - 24/7! The environment will be thankful. Good Luck and keep the ideas coming!

Jeff Hoskins says I've known Josh Ritcher, the architect of CineCore, professionally and on a personal level for many, many years. His integrity, commitment to detail, knowledge of the film industry, and follow-through on projects always rises above the fray and stands alone.

Tanjareen Martin says Wow! What an intelligent & eco-friendly idea! Wish I had thought of it. As a producer, I can't wait to use this on my next project! ...After you get this funded, can you invent one for health care & the court systems? They're still living in the stone ages of paperwork too. :-/

Josh Ritcher says CineCore will be available to every production, big or small. The software is scaleable making it accessible to even the smallest indie short film. Indie films make costly mistakes and with such small budgets they often risk self destruction. We want to help keep their money on the tv screens, so pricing was very important to us. Every production should be able to benefit from our solution and we priced it that way. Yes we know of Celtx, they are more pre production and script organization. Once all that is done and you want to begin principle photography then you come to us. CineCore helps manage the many departments, documents, dailies and so much more all the way through post production. I hope that answered your questions.

letal says Great idea, I voted 10. But are you guys going to keep the software cheap for young broke artist? Or is it going to be overpriced and only for rich producers? And out of curiosity, did you hear about the freeware celtx?

Klein says Brilliant

Tom says Every other industry is using technology to lower costs and maximize efficiency, what the hell is Hollywood waiting for? Everyone on a film crew - from the director to the PAs - will benefit from this!

Mark says Worked on a multi-cam show this past season. Was baffled they did not have a more efficient eco-friendly system of distributing call sheets, revisions, production reports, etc. Some paper is necessary in this industry, but hopefully this software can improve the current state of distribution.

Joshua Mwangi says As a production assistant, I saw so much of what your talking about. We all carry computers around, whether on our lap or on our cells/pda, this is great news. Can't wait for it. Wish I had investment capital of my own.

Sherry Collins says As a former programmer/analyst, this is very cool.

Stacy says This is a wonderful idea. Not only does it make Hollywood eco friendly, but it also makes it much more efficient!
February 27, 2009
Filmnut127 says This is definitely one of those "why didn't I think of that" ideas. What an incredibly clever and timely thing. Anyone working in the industry needs to take a look at this. This guy is going to make the $$$!

Tom$tar says THIS IS HAPPENNING! YOU ROCK DUDE!
February 27, 2009
Nikki says I'm only worked on a few shows and I am perplexed at the fact that this has NEVER been brought up before, a software like this hasn't already been made! I see the paper that is wasted on shows and this would be a HUGE push towards making Hollywood eco friendly. KUDDOS!
February 27, 2009
Mike says To be honest, this just makes sense! To think of all the hiccups during production from the lack of communication between the various department heads and their teams to all the script revisions etc, this is just too easy! I would love it if this system was ready to go by my next production. It saves on time, money and stress. I love it!

rich varga says WHY has this not been implemented before? the time is NOW!
