Hi, I asked this a while back but have done research and wantr to ask more.

I want to deal in something that is profitable and will generate buyers to come back or to keep the business flowing. I dont have much startup capital however I was thinking about going into selling DVD`s and Video Games from ingram interatinment. My questions....

1. Is it easy to make money on ebay purchasing from ingram intertainment?

2. Is it good to use Ingram Intertainemnt Dropshipping while building my business?

3. Is it a good idea to start with Amazona Auctions and if it works then move to ebay I heard that Amazon is free unless item is sold.

4. Do dvds and video games sell well online if they are already at retail stores?

.

The DVD market is pretty flooded on eBay, Amazon and Half.  How much research have you done?  Are you going for high-volume/low-profit-margin?  Will you be selling a specialty niche?

What about renting DVDs? It`s gonna be a problem, though, what with downloadable video on demand verging on explosive growth. People into games copy the disks for their friends, bootleg them, and everything else. It`s why I`m seeing fewer and fewer "video rental" stores in our area near Chicago.

Selling on eBay takes a far larger commitment than those radio ads would have you believe! To do a volume business takes a huge amount of effort, so think about it before you make that your primary source of product. Better is to find a way to pick up used DVDs from "somewhere" for very cheap, then sell them on eBay and other areas at below the other seller prices.

If you`re looking for a business with hardly any capital, did you check out that thread about having only $200 to start a business?
