I'm creating a listings site (basically a listings of auditions in a neighborhood of mine).

Craiglist's offers some great posts (some are bad of course), but if I know which posts are legitmate, am i able to repost that post on my site as well??

I would assume it would be a controversial thing, depending on the post and what the original poster has intended basically.  I would assume they want eyes to look at it, so I'm basically offering that free of charge.

My site is pure positive, nothing negative about it. I would honor each post respectably also, I would not alter any of the posts, they would be 100% the exact same post.

I take ZERO credit, and provide references...etc.  It would be legit, and I honestly cant see why (at least most of them) they would complain.  If some do complain, I'll be happily able to take them down.

So what do you guys think ?

I'd check out Craigslist's Terms of Service. I don't know who's property these listings would be considered.

If you are crediting the source and providing an easy way to having the listing removed from your site...I don't see a huge problem with it.

It may be difficult to rank in search engines if you're concerned about that, since most of your content will be duplicate content.

In my opinion, it would be better to set up your site so individuals can post their listings personally, instead of duplicating listings from Craigslist. Then, you'll be getting unique content and you'll know that the individual wants their information on your site.
