| Description: | My love is my dog, Zoe-Joe (pronounced Zoey Jo). My love for her and need for functional and stylish pet necessities caused me to design a dog travel bag to carry Everything But the Dog, hince the name E.B.D. Carry-all! I have two companies "PupCentric Designs" and "Ribbons & Bow-wows". I thought the second name was too girly, and I`m a serious designer, so I created PupCentric. check us out, www.pupcentric.com I joined SuN because things have moved extremely fast for my company. I`m completing a PhD in human factors & ergonomics, but became frustrated with how long it was taking. To help ease my tension I went to my hobby of sewing (April 2006), next thing I was designing a dog travel bag, within two months had 5 manufacturers in China, by October debuted at HH Backer in Chicago (one of the largest pet industry tradeshows), and is currently in about 50 stores, been in magazines, and now negotiating a licensing agreement. Needless to say, I`m a little overwhemled at times when it comes to the business end of it. I`m hoping that SuN will at least arm me with a little knowledge to not look like an idiot! :) |
