Heres my thoughts. Next time offer them an incentive package. $XX for up to 100 baskets, $X0 for 200+ and so on. Remember the value of those business cards and being able to say to the next hospital ...well. I have just placed 900 with such and such hosp down the street.
Yes, its nice to say hey my product is worth $XX but at the end of the day what did your bank account say????? We are building our business`s here, we dont have a ton in the bank and making a name for ourselves is one of the strongest things we can do.
Just my thoughts and my best wishes for your father.
This is REALLY Good stuff, we know we suck at marketing..lol but these are ideas and assistance to help us over come it. Every body this has been a help any more is greatly apprecated. I have hesitated to go sell the "pain point" but we see that is now necessary. Keep it coming!!!!!!
Hi, Goldmine or ACT is a good CRM, I have connected ACT to phone lines numerous times and its not difficult. Shouldnt be hard to find someone to do that if you cant figure it out.
I have had the most success hiring retired workers for these position. Just make sure they are relatively stable and not just arriving from a re-hab shelter or similiar. Have had that happen and it NEVER worked out. Younger workers can be good as some of them are trying to build a solid work history and have good references for future work However you can also get a lot of I cant come in today cause my BF/GF broke up with me and/or I partied WAY to hard last night dude and I`m all messed up.
Trainers??? There are a million of them out there so choose carefully... hope all this helps
I have had the most success with just being upfront and honest. I believe in my products and that comes across in my calls. Try coming across this way: People love a good story, ask that person for their help, make their day, ask them what it takes to get in the door. BE SINCERE

I`ll try to make this short and consise. Our small business http://www.docs2digital.com/docs2digital.html is in the Document Management services and Solutions business. An area that is growing fast, maybe to fast. We get a fair amount of inquiries and hits. We carry entry level products as well as enterprise wide solutions. Here is what has almost put us out of business in the past. Lets say we have 10 solid prospects. All qualified and they have budgets and timeframes set (time frames are usually 3-4 months). However, after a while it all gets put on the back burner. Its not that we lose them to competitors they just dont buy anything. This is even after we may spend a few thou working with them. We usually present a needs analysis and get very detailed in why they need/want/benefit from our solutions. We are trying to re-market so as to grab possibly a differnt type of prospect. Not a lot of luck so far. Has anybody else battled this and what did you do to overcome it?
