I think it is a great idea, but like the others have said, you need to add value for your subscribers. There are services that offer free coaching to small businesses. I think you should try to connect to these services and see if you can`t proposition a few of the coaches to serve as mentors for your users. If many will do it for free, I`m sure you can get a few to do it for a small share of the profits. Just having a motivator and a shoulder to lean (or cry on) will help a lot of would-be entrepreneurs actualize their dreams, and take it from the dream phase, and make it a reality.
I agree with Craig. You need colored images. Also, you don`t want pictures that are squished. Perhaps lightening the background would also be a nice change. If you are trying to highlight these two point, display them on the front. Don;t make me look for a reason to use you. Give me the reason before I ask for it.
Look at popular sites in the same market and see the color schemes they use. There is a lot of dead space. Also, perhaps get a few college guys to model the shirts. That would look way better than having the folded up. It is hard to show how good a shirt looks when it is still in the original packaging. Do you just have shirts? Maybe having links to the product categories. ie, shirts, pants, accessories, etc. Also, display more items per page. When I land on your page, simply seeing two shirts does not make me want to stick around. Good Luck!!
